America’s Best Places to Live 2008: No. 44, Westminster, Colorado
As seen in the August 2008 issue of Money magazine and on the web at CNNMoney.com.
Westminster, CO
Top 100 rank: 44
Population: 105,700
Westminster’s location between Denver and Boulder puts it within easy reach of regional businesses and entertainment. But there sure is a lot to do right here in town: movie theaters, recreation centers, golf courses, parks, hiking trails, and hundreds of restaurants and retail stores.
History buffs can explore this century-old city by visiting the Bowles House Museum or historic Westminster Castle, a majestic neo-Romanesque-style structure built in 1892.
But there’s nothing like a view – and a climb up the 182 stairs of City Hall pays off with a fabulous vista of the metro area and the Rockies.
